OfficeLab

The OfficeLab, an initiative of imec and Ghent University, brings the Internet of Things to the everyday work environment. It offers a unique infrastructure to create and test technological developments that focus on improving and optimizing working conditions and building the offices of tomorrow.

OfficeLab comprises three floors of the iGent office building at the Technology Campus in Zwijnaarde (Ghent), Belgium. The floors have been equipped with dozens of nodes, supporting Wi-Fi and several sensor technologies. Next to this, social robots are at your disposal to test real-life office applications (e.g. accompanying guests to a meeting space).
