Introduction

The exploding multimedia data traffic is putting heavy demands on computing centers. At the core level of the infrastructure, heat dissipation of high-performance server processor chips is a key limiter. At the application level, smart mobile devices like tablets and smart phones suffer from battery constraints.

Imec aims to push Moore’s law to the extreme by scaling down logic devices to the 7nm technology node and far lower.

Our solution
